68,000 tonnes of CHS corn were purchased at the tender at price of 182.9 USD /mt C&F + 1 USD/mt on delivery in two ports.
The South Korean company FLC purchased 66,000 tonnes of corn at price of 183.3 USD/mt. The corn originates from the United States or South America.
On June 6th 2017 Jordan will hold an auction for the purchase of 100 000 tonnes of milling wheat of optional origin. At the previous auction held on May 30th, 2017 50,000 tonnes of wheat were purchased at price of 204 USD/mt for October shipment.
From the beginning of the current wheat purchasing campaign, the government of India, has bought 30 million tonnes of wheat from farmers. 33 million tonnes of wheat are planned to be purchased, given 23 million tonnes last year.
On June 1st, 2017 the government of China auctioned 3.473 million tonnes of corn of 2013 crop. 3.232 million tonnes of corn were sold at price of 202.38 USD /mt. Last week, 5.78 million tonnes of corn were sold.
