On 2.06.2017 the South Korean company NOFI has held a tender for the purchase of 138 000 tonnes of yellow corn and 120 000 tonnes of feed wheaat with random origin. At the tender 138 000 tonnes of corn have been purchased at price 182.89 USD/tonne C&F and the value of the September corn contract in Chicago + 0.85 USD/bushel. Also 64 000 tonnes of wheat were purchased at 189.9 USD/tonne C&F.

Corn is harvested on 38.4% of the areas and soybeans - on 85.5%. 16.69 mln.tonnes of corn and 50.22 mln.tonnes of soybeans were collected. Corn yield continue to be good, which is the reason the forecast for the crops to remain high – 39 mln.tonnes or growth of 33%, and soybeans will reach 57.5 mln.tonnes (+2.7%).
