On June 15th 2017 the government of China held an auction for the sale of 1.385 million tonnes of corn from the state reserves, 2013 crop. Only 98,293 tonnes of corn were sold at average price of 196.24 USD / mt. In May, corn stocks in the state fund reach 230 million tonnes.
The South Korean KFA association has purchased 130,000 tonnes of corn at price of 183.5 USD / mt, C&F, for September shipment. The KOCOPIA association has purchased 60,000 tonnes of corn at price of 185.5 USD /mt and shipment on September 25th, 2017.
On June 14th, 2017 Tunisia purchased 25,000 tonnes of wheat at price of 189.95 USD / mt, C&F and 25,000 tonnes of barley at price of 175.82 USD / mt, C&F, of optional origin.
