Australian premium white wheat has rose sharply in recent days by 9.25 USD / mt to 244.75 USD / mt, FOB Australia, September shipment. The reason for the rise in prices is drought on large areas of the country and the perspective for it to continue.
On July 2nd 2017 Egypt bought 20,000 tonnes of soybean oil, for August 15th - 30th shipment, at price of 780 USD / mt.
According to IGC forecast, in 2017 – 2018 grain crops in Kazakhstan will be 17.5 million tonnes, which is 1.9 million tonnes less than the current season and 13 million tonnes in 2014-2015. The ending grain stocks in the new season will be 3.5 million tonnes, which is 0.4 million tonnes less than the previous forecast.
