37 million tonnes of grain will be exported from Russia in the new season.

In the new economic year 2017-2018 (starting in July) 37 million tonnes of grain will be exported from Russia given an export potential of 40 million tonnes, according to Rusagrotrans.

As of July 7th 2017 82,000 tonnes of grain are exported from Russia, and 109,500 tonns of grain are in a process of loading.

In July, 1.35 million tonnes will be exported from Russian deep-water ports given 986,000 tonnes in July 2016. Throughout 2016 - 2017 Russian deep-sea ports exported 17.3 million tonnes of grain, which is 13% more than the previous season.

In 2016 - 2017 35.7 million tonnes of grain (+ 5%) were exported from Russia. With respect to grain crops and flour, total export reached 37.1 million tonnes (+ 3.6%).

Over the past season, wheat export amounted to 27.1 million tonnes (10%), corn 5.17 million tonnes (+ 11%), barley 2.89 million tonnes (+ 32.6%).
