According to the customs authorities of China in July 2017, corn import reaches 910,000 tonnes at 383,090 tonnes in June and only 28,980 tonnes in July 2016.

Import of corn in China is rising after the authorities announced a forecast that crop in 2017 will fall, which has triggered a rise in prices.
