In particular during the first 10 months of 2016 - 2017. (October - July), the major customer of Russian corn is Iran - 890,000 tonnes (+ 300% vs. 2015-2016). Followed by Vietnam -  907,000 tonnes (0) and Japan, 286,000 tonnes (13,000 tonnes for the previous year).

Shipments to South Korea's have fallen by 24% and to Turkey by 17%.

During the reported period, total export reached 5.1 million tonnes (+ 9%).
