Import of corn in 2017 - 2018 will reach 15.5 million tonnes (+ 9%), incl. from US 15,325 million tonnes (13.8 million tonnes in the previous season).

In 2017. wheat crop is 3.55 million tonnes (-8.7%), 660,000 hectares (-9%) are under wheat cultivation.

Despite the decline in the crop, large domestic stocks will allow a 3.2 % reduction in wheat import to 5.2 million tonnes. The share of US import from the total import will decrease to 70% (75.3).
