On October 3, 2017 Egypt purchased 180,000 tonnes of Russian wheat
On October 3, 2017 Egypt's GASC purchased 180,000 tonnes of Russian wheat

GASC did not report on prices but they were provided by traders:

 

- 60,000 tonnes at price of FOB 197.95 USD / mt + FRT 14.80 USD / mt, a total of 212.75 USD / mt.

- 60,000 tonnes at price of FOB 199.00 USD / mt + FRT 14.80 USD / mt, a total of 213.80 USD / mt.

- 60,000 tonnes at price of FOB 200.00 USD / mt + FRT 13.00 USD / mt, a total of 213.00 USD / mt.

 

Compared to the previous auction, prices rose by 2-3 USD/ mt despite the solved conflict with French and Romanian wheat.
