Analysts expect that the wheat production in Kazakhstan will fall to 9.5 - 11.9 million tons in the new season from 13.66 million tons in 2020.

- Over the week of July 19-25, 281,590 tons of grain were exported from the Russian port of Novorossiysk, which is 2.1 times more than the previous year, but 18.2% less than the previous week. Wheat exports reached 227,090 tons and barley exports were 54,500 tons.

- Analysts expect that the wheat production in Kazakhstan will fall to 9.5 - 11.9 million tons in the new season from 13.66 million tons in 2020. In 2021/22, imports of 2 million tons of Russian wheat are expected. Farmers from Siberia and the Urals report unusually strong demand for wheat from Kazakhstan. These Russian regions have also been hit by drought in recent months. 

- According to CGC data, wheat exports from Canada reached 1.72 million tons in June (1.74 million tons in June 2020). The largest buyers were Indonesia with 272,600 tons (149,300), China with 241,200 tons (397,500), Peru with 179,600 tons (92,700), Ecuador with 148,000 tons (38,800) and Japan with 134,900 tons (138,600). Since the beginning of the season, wheat exports have totaled 18.4 million tons (15.85).

- According to Oil World, exports of cereals and oilseeds from Argentina reached 9.29 million tons in June (9.79 million tons in June 2020). Corn exports were 4.2 million tons (4.57), soybeans exports were 0.51 million tons (1.33), soyoil exports were 578,000 tons (629,000), wheat exports reached 932,000 tons (306,000), sunseed oil exports were 124,000 tons (38,000), sunseed meal exports reached 112,000 tons (83,000) and soymeal exports were 2.82 million tons. Over the period of January - June, exports of soymeal add up to a total of 15.44 million tons (13.16), soyoil exports totaled 3.46 million tons (2.83), total corn exports reach 17.82 million tons (20.03), wheat exports add up to a total of 7.01 million tons (8.58) and soybean exports reached 1.88 million tons (4.39).

- In the first half of 2021, China imported 48.95 million tons of soybeans, which is 9% more than the previous year. In June alone, soybean stocks in the China increased by 19% and are 20% more than the previous year. In 2021, China's soybean production will be one of the largest in history.

- According to Oil World, in the first half of 2021, biodiesel exports from China reached 580,000 tons (419,000 tons a year earlier). The largest buyers were the EU with 554,000 tons and the UK with 26,000 tons. Over the period of October - June, biodiesel exports totaled 808,000 tons, including 780,000 tons for the EU. Demand for oils for biodiesel production in China increased their consumption in the country by 1.6 million tons over the period and imports to a record 11.1 million tons.
