- The Ministry of Agriculture of Romania estimates the new wheat production in the country at 11.4 million tons (6.4 in 2020) with an average yield of 5.35 tons/hectare (2.99). Exports are projected to reach 7 million tons and domestic consumption is expected at 2.5 - 3 million tons. The corn production is expected to reach 13.7 million tons (10.2).
