- From 01.03.2023, the export tax on sunseed oil from Russia will be 2,068.1 rubles/ton. In the last five months, the export tax has not been applied.

- According to IKAR's forecast, grain exports from Russia will be 57 million tons in 2022/23.

- From the beginning of the season to 22.02.2023, the export of grain from Ukraine reached 30.79 million tons (43.021 a year earlier), including in 3,819 million tons February (4,551). Wheat exports were 11,032 million tons (17,955), barley exports were 2,025 million tons (5,628) and corn exports reached 17,605 million tons (18,982).

- In Brazil, 61.1% of the production is transported by road, 20.7% by rail and 13.6% by barge. The cost of transportation from the central part of Moto Grosso to the port of Paranagua has been within the range of 1.74 - 1.92 USD/bushel until now. It has been agreed with the business that the price will rise to 2.62 - 2.88 USD/bushel (about 125 - 130 USD/ton), and in the future it is expected to reach 3.49 USD/bushel.

- The authorities in India will sell an additional 2 million tons of wheat on the domestic market in order to calm prices. In January, 3 million tons of wheat were sold.

- Iraq has announced a tender to buy 200,000 tons of milling wheat from the United States, Australia or Canada.

- Algeria has announced a tender for the purchase of 40,000 tons of corn from Argentina and delivery in April. In the previous tender held in February, 30,000 tons of Argentine corn were purchased at 339 USD/ton C&F and delivery in March.

- Turkey has announced a tender for the purchase of 48,000 tons of unrefined sunseed oil with delivery within April-May.

- Turkey has announced a tender for the purchase of 790,000 tons of red milling wheat of any origin and delivery within 03.08 - 05.10.2023.

- Jordan has bought 60,000 tons of milling wheat at 333 USD/ton C&F and delivery in July.
