In December, the export tax on sunseed oil from Russia remained at zero, while the export taxes for sunflower meal were 3,313 rubles/ton (compared to 5,773 in October). For the upcoming week, the export tax on Russian wheat will be 3,820.20 rubles/ton (compared to 4,395.4 a week earlier), barley continues without duty, and the export tax on corn is set at 642 rubles/ton (1,013.1).
From July 1 to November 24, 2023, Ukraine exported 12.541 million tons of grain (compared to 16.994 the previous year), including 3.301 million tons in November (compared to 3.792). The exported quantities include 5.680 million tons of wheat (1.049 in November), 867,000 tons of barley (184,000), and 5.865 million tons of corn (2.059).
As of November 23, 2023, Ukraine harvested grains on 10.237 million hectares (94% of the total area), yielding 55.053 million tons at an average rate of 5.38 tons/hectare. Corn has been harvested on 82% of the areas, yielding 24.88 million tons at an average rate of 7.48 tons/hectare. Sunseed has been harvested on 99% of the areas, with 11.93 million tons harvested at an average rate of 2.38 tons/hectare, and soybeans have been harvested on 99% of the areas, with 4.77 million tons harvested at an average rate of 2.65 tons/hectare. In total, 75.763 million tons of grains and oilseeds have been harvested so far.
In the week of November 16-22, 29,420 tons of wheat were exported from the French port of Rouen (a 66% decrease compared to the previous week), including 22,000 tons destined for Portugal. Additionally, 44,000 tons of barley were exported to China, 5,000 tons to the Netherlands, and 4,500 tons to Sweden. From the port of La Pallice, 10,020 tons of barley and 5,600 tons of wheat were sent.
According to data from the Ministry of Agriculture of Argentina, 1.9 million tons of soybeans were processed in the country in October (a 1% decrease compared to October 2022). Soymeal production reached 1.3 million tons (2.1), and soyoil production was 361,100 tons (564,700). From January to October, 23.3 million tons of soybeans were processed (32.2), resulting in the production of 16.9 million tons of soymeal (23.4) and 3.6 million tons of soyoil (4.5).
Importers from China have purchased 66,000 tons of feed corn from Ukraine at a price of 248 USD/ton C&F with delivery in December.
Iran has acquired 120,000 tons of corn at a price of 309 USD/ton C&F with delivery scheduled for January to March.
