- In July, just over 1 million tons of sunseed were processed in Ukraine, a 10% decrease compared to June. In the first 11 months of the season, processing reached 14.4 million tons, the highest level in the past 4 seasons. For the entire 2023/24 year, processing is expected to be 15.2 million tons, a 7% increase compared to the previous estimate and a 9% increase compared to the previous season.

- The French Ministry of Agriculture forecasts that the 2024/25 soft wheat production in the country will be 25.2 million tons, the lowest level in the last 40 years, a 25% decrease compared to 2023/24 and a 27% decrease compared to the five-year average.

A year earlier, 70.8% of 15.47 million hectares had been harvested, with an average of 59.8% over the past five years.
