The European Commission forecasts that the EU's sunseed production in 2024 will be 8.1 million tons, 17% less than in 2023.

- According to a forecast by Rusagrotrans, Russia is expected to export 4.55 million tons of wheat in November (compared to 3.49 million in November 2023).

- In the first 10 months of 2024, Kazakhstan exported 710,000 tons of barley, a 69% increase from the previous year. This growth is attributed to the renewed export to Iran. Corn exports reached 117,000 tons (+150%).

- The European Commission forecasts that the EU's sunseed production in 2024 will be 8.1 million tons, 17% less than in 2023. This is the lowest figure since 2015. The production in Romania stands at 1.2 million tons (compared to 2 million previously).

- In October, Brazil exported 4.71 million tons of soybeans (-15.9% compared to October 2023 at 5.6 million tons and 6.11 million in September) according to Secex data. The export supply of soybeans from Brazil is decreasing.

- In October, China imported 8.087 million tons of soybeans (-29% compared to September). Soymeal stocks decreased by 1.3 million tons to 0.98 million tons. The country is experiencing an increase in soymeal prices due to this sharp decline in stocks.

- Bangladesh has announced a tender to purchase 50,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin.

- Authorities in Thailand are reducing the biodiesel consumption requirement from B7 to B5 due to a shortage of palm oil in the country and rising prices.
