As of August 6, 2021, 21.7 million hectares of cereals have been harvested in Russia, 68.2 million tons of grain have been harvested at an average yield of 3.14 tons/hectare (3.47 in 2020).
According to the latest forecast of ProZerno, the grain production in Russia in 2021 will be 123.3 million tons in 2021, including wheat production of 77.1 million tons, barley production of 18.9 million tons and a corn production of 14.6 million tons.

The Ministry of Agriculture of France has lowered its forecast for the soft wheat production this season by 0.4 million tons to 36.69 million tons, which is 26% more than 2020/21.
