Inonesia Increased Palm Oil Export In February

According to information from Oil World, over the month of February 2017, palm oil export from Indonesia reached 2.13 mln tons, which was 0.34 mln tons more than the previous month, but 0.18 mln tons less than February 2016.

The export of unrefined palm oil was 422,000 tons (390,000) while refined palm oil export was 1.71 mln tons (1.56).

Over the first two months of 2017, 4.67 mln tons of oil (3.95) were exported from Indonesia, which compensates export decline in Malaysia. Unrefined oil supply was 1.19 mln tons (0.8) while refined oil supply was 3.4 mln tons (3.12).

Experts estimate that palm oil export from Indonesia will be growing until the end of the season in view of the favourable weather conditions.
