Russia: the spring sowing is completed on 13.3 mln. ha
According to UcraAgroConsult, as of 05.05.2017, spring sowing in Russia is completed on areas of 13.3 mln. ha or 25.3% of the plan given 13.5 mln. ha in 2016.

Spring crops are sown on 7.7 mln. ha or 24.7% of the plan given 8.2 mln. ha in 2016. Areas under spring wheat cultivation amount to 1.1 mln. ha (8.5% and 1.4) , spring barley 3.1 mln/ ha (40.8% and 3.7), corn 1.8 mln. ha (57.8 and 1.4), rice 59.3 thousand ha (28.1 % and 38.0).

Areas under sunflower cultivation amount to 2.3 mln. ha (32.6% and 2.1). Spring rapeseed 184.3 thousand ha (20.9 and 115.2 ) and soybean 476.0 thousand ha (21% and 223.4 ha).
