Argentina: Soybean yield persective remain indefinite

According to Oil World's latest forecast, soybean yield in Argentina will reach 54-55 mln. tonnes in the current season, given 54.7 mln. tonnes in 2015 – 2016 and 60 mln. tonnes in 2014 – 2015.

The plenty of moisture in the soil holds back the harvest of the crop. In the wettest regions there are much lower yields compared to  the previous year.

Weather forecasts predict that rainfalls will continue until May 19th, 2017, which raises serious concerns about the quality of the new soybean crop. As a result, it is possible the estimates of the crop to be lowered.
