Sunflower oil production increases by 0.6 mln. tonnes for the period September - May
According to Oil World, for the period September - may 2017 global sunflower oil production will rise to 6.31 mln. tonnes, given 5.71 mln. tonnes a year earlier

Russia will produce 1.45 mln. tonnes of oil (1.34), Ukraine 1.91 mln. tonnes (1.73), Argentina 0.57 mln. tonnes (0.46).

During the period, theglobal export of sunflower oil will be 3.35 mln. tonnes (3.14), incl. from Ukraine 1.8 mln. tonnes (1.72), Russia 0.61 mln. tonnes (0.53) and Argentina 0.31 mln. tonnes (0.25).

In the current season, canola crop in Canada will be 19.2 mln. tonnes, given 18.38 mln. tonnes in the previous one, which will be 2.79 mln. tonnes more than 2014-2015 and is a record for the country.

Canola export will increase to the record 10.8 mln. tonnes (+0.5 mln. tonnes), domestic processing will be 9.2 mln. tonnes (8.32) and ending stocks 0.9 mln. tonnes (2.02) - a minimum level for the past 4 years.
