Palm oil import reached 868,740 tonnes and that of soybean oil 289,750 tonnes.

The government of Iran has already bought 8.8 million tonnes of wheat from farmers. It is planned 11 million tonnes of wheat to be purchased.

In the first eight months of 2017, 25.3 million tonnes of grain (+ 23.2% from the previous year) were exported from Russian seaports.

As of September 10, 2017. 95% of the spring wheat is harvested in the United States at 94% a year earlier and 87% on average over the past five years. Harvest is completed on 5% of the areas under corn cultivation (5% and 6%). In good and excellent condition are 61% of the areas under corn (61% and 74%).

Japan announced a tender for the purchase of 139,400 tonnes of wheat from the US, Canada and Australia for November shipment.

On September 11, 2017. Turkey purchased 60,000 tonnes of feed barley at 198.28 - 208.65 USD / mt, C & F for September shipment.

Until 2018 - 2019  Egypt plans to increase the areas under corn cultivation by 2/3 of the current 830,300 acres to 2.1 million acres. The state will purchase the corn from the farmers at a price of 192.96 USD / mt. Annually, 8.5 million tonnes of corn are imported into the country.
