Russian Ministry of Agriculture increased its forecast for grain export which is now estimated between 35 and 37 mln tons compared with exactly 35 mln tons in the previous forecast. Between the season start and January 18, 2017, 21,28 mln tons of grain were exported from the country compared with 21,344 mln tons a year earlier.

Wheat export increased by 4,8% up to 16,734 mln tons. Grain ending stocks in the country are estimated at approximately 15 mln tons, which is considered a normal level.

APK - Inform announced that 423,700 tons of grain were exported from Russian ports between January 13 and 19, including 309,700 tons of wheat, 111,000 tons of corn and 3,000 tons of peas. The biggest buyers were Egypt with 93,000 tons, South Korea with 60,500 tons and Nigeria with 48,000 tons.

APK - Inform announced that 694,700 tons of grain were exported from Ukrainian ports between January 14 and 20, including 201,000 tons of wheat and 493,700 tons of corn. The biggest buyers were Spain with 127,600 tons, Israel with 126,500 tons and India with 82,100 tons.
