Grain stocks in Canada go up by 17%

Wheat stocks in Canada grew by 16.8% on December 31, 2016 compared to the previous year up to 25 mln tons, Statistics Canada reported.

Farmers' stocks have gorwn by 21.2% up to 21.3 mln tons while traders' stocks drop by 3.5% down to 3.7 mln tons.

Experts expect stocks decrease at the end of the current season compared with the previous season down to 24.2 mln tons.

Barley stocks have grown by 11.7% to 6.4 mln tons while analysts predict an average of 6.3 mln tons.
