In January, Malaysia Increased Insignificantly Its Palm Oil Export
Oil World reported that 1.28 mln tons of palm oil were exported from Malaysia in January 2017 versus 1.27 mln tons in January 2016.

224,000 tons of oil (144,000) were exported to African countries and 842,000 tons (852,000) were exported to Asian countries including 129,000 tons (264,000) to India and 48,000 tons (65,000) to Pakistan. 48,000 tons of palm oil (137,000) were exported to the EU.

China with 167,000 tons (105,000), Vietnam and Turkey marked exported growth.

Palm oil stocks in Malaysia were 1.5 mln tons at the end of January versus 2.31 mln tons a year earlier. The level is higher than market expectations. Analysts expect index rise in April.
