On 17.02.2017 Egypt bought 360,000 tons of Russian, Ukrainian and Romanian wheat to be delivered between March 16 and March 26 at FOB 195.0 – 197.0 USD/ton.

The price jumped 2 to 5 USD/ton versus the previous auction carried out three weeks ago.

The following FOB offers were made at the auction:

- AOS 60,000 tons of Russian wheat at 195.00 USD/ton.

- Daewoo 60,000 tons of Russian wheat at 196.25 USD/ton.

- Louis Dreyfus 60,000 tons of Ukrainian wheat at 196.54 USD/ton.

- Nidera 60,000 tons of Romanian wheat at 197.98 USD/ton.

- Grainbow 60,000 of Russian wheat at 199.00 USD/ton.

- Aston 60,000 tons of Russian wheat at 200.77 USD/ton.

- Cargill 60,000 tons of French wheat at 201 USD/ton.

- Олам 60,000 tons of Russian wheat at 205 USD/ton.

- Cargill 5, 000 tons of hard red winter American wheat at 208 USD/ton.
