The EU To Increase Considerably Sunflower Oil In 2016
Oil World reported that oilseed oil import in the EU increased to 9.08 mln tons in 2016 versus 8.89 mln tons in 2015.

The growth is mainly due to sunflower oil with 1.58 mln tons (0.98), but this coincided with the rapeseed import decline to 166,000 tons (230,000) and palm oil down to 7.02 mln tons (7.37). Soybean oil delivery remains steady at 309,000 tons (302,000).

In the first six weeks of 2017, sunflower oil import in the EU is lower than the previous year due to the larger sunflower processing. Palm oil import is lower than the previous year, too.
