GASC Has Received A Record Number Of Offers For Wheat Purchasing
On March 15, 2017 Egypt's state company GASC carried out an auction for the purchase of wheat and received a record number of offers. Wheat delivery is to be made between April 15 and April 25, 2017.

415,000 tons of wheat were purchased including 300,000 tons from Russia, 60,000 tons from Ukraine and 55,000 tons from France.

The auction's lowest price was on Ukrainian wheat – 208.25 USD/ton C&F. The lowest FOB price was for American wheat 189.60 USD/ton.
