Top Soybean Meal Exporters Reduced Export In February
Reduced world soybean meal demand in February limited the export by the key exporter countries.

The index went down by 0.6 mln tons to 4.2 mln tons compared with February 2016, Oil World reported.

In particular, American soybean meal deliveries were 0.98 mln tons (1.1), Argentina delivered 2.14 mln tons (2.6), Paraguay added 0.12 mln tons (0.22) to the total while India contributed further 0.21 mln tons (0.02).

Soybean meal import in the EU was 1.37 mln tons (1.43) Asian countries imported 1.82 mln tons (2.15) including 0.34 mln tons (0.41) for Indonesia, the Philippines with 0.12 mln tons (0.24) and Iran with 0 tons (0.022).

Soybean meal export has been 23.33 mln tons (23.91) since the start of the season.
