Corn export will grow by 12% during the season up to 18.7 mln tons while domestic consumption will jump by 5% to 8.4 mln tons.

The average corn production will reach 6,600 kg/ha on a season-long term, which is 13% higher than the average level in revcent years. Corn areas were 4.3 mln hectares (+4%).

The average grain production in the country was 4,610 kg/hectare (+500 kg/hectare versus 2015). A new export record of 41.6 mln tons is expected in 2016  -2017.
