USDA Has Increased Its Forecast On World Production Of Oilseeds

USDA has issued its April report on the world grains and oilseeds balance.

In 2016 – 2017, world oilseeds production will be 563.4 mln tons, which is 5.4 mln tons more than the March report as growth is mainly because of soybeans and it is 33 mln tons more than 2015 – 2016.

Soybean yield will be 345.9 mln tons, which is 5 mln tons more than the previous forecast mainly because of Brazil 111 mln tons (108 and 96.5), Paraguay 10.1 mln tons (9.17 and 9.22) and Argentina 56 mln tons (55.5 and 56.8).

World soybean export has grown by 2.2 mln tons to 143.3 mln tons including export from Brazil - 61.9 mln tons (61 and 54.38).

World soybean ending stocks will be 87.4 mln tons (82.8 and 77.13) including Argentina 30.4 mln tons (29.7 and 31.95), Brazil 22.6 mln tons (20.8 and 18.05), China 16.56 mln tons (15.56 and 16.91) and the USA 12.12 mln tons (11.84 and 5.35).
