Large and medium-sized sunflower processing companies in Ukraine exported 683,700 tons of sunflower oil in March, which was 59.2% more than March 2016 and 54.7% more than February 2017. Since the start of the season, oil export from Ukraine has been 29% more than last year.

According to an APK - Inform forecast, in 2016 – 2017, soybean oil production in Russia will reach 780,000 tons versus 767,000 tons a year earlier. Export will grow to 460,000 tons versus 428,000 tons in 2015 – 2016. Between September and January, the list of major soybean buyers included Algeria with a 49% share, Tunisia with a share of 15%, Venezuela with 7% and China with 6%.

Between April 4 and April 14, 1.58 mln tons of grains were exported from Ukrainian sea ports versus 860,100 tons a week earlier. Wheat export was 268,100 tons, corn export was 1.252 mln tons and barley export was 59,600 tons. alta with 811,500 tons, Egypt with 212,100 tons and Hong Kong with 138,800 tons were the biggest buyers.

As of the beginning of April 2017, Russia's agricultural and processing companies held 28.286 mln tons of grains or 4.444 mln tons more than 1.04.2016.
