During the period 1.03 - 25.04.2017, 4.96 mln. tonnes of corn were exported from the country. By the end of the season export is expected to amount to 21.54 mln. tonnes, 35.7% more than the previous season.

Key buyers were Vietnam, Egypt, Algeria, Malaysia, South Africa, Brazil and Indonesia.

In 2016 1.4 mln. tonnes of corn were exported from Argentina to Brazil, and during the period January - March 2017, 263 000 tonnes.

During the period 01.12.2016 - 25.04.2017 wheat exported from Argentina is 49% more than the same period last year. As a result, the export potential decreased sharply, which may support world prices in the near future.

From the beginning of 2016 - 2017 7.486 mln. tonnes of wheat were exported from Argentina. Until the end of the export season there are still 1.014 mln. tonnes, 74% less than last year.

During the period January - March 2017, 735 000 tonnes of wheat were exported from Argentina to Algeria and 313 000 tonnes to Kenya.
