According to the new forecast, the production will reach 4.728 mln. Tonnes, compared to 4.654 mln. tonnes in the January forecast and 5.307 mln. tonnes in 2015-2016.

The rapeseed export remains unchanged at 1.3 mln. tonnes, an increase of  9% compared to the previous season. Export to EU member states will amount to 255 000 tonnes (303 000) and outside the EU 1.045 mln. tonnes (888 000).

The forecast for sunflower yield in the country for the current season has been reduced again to 1.19 mln. tonns (1,223 and 1,186).

Sunflower seeds import rose to 550 000 tonnes from 420 000 tonnes given the previous report. EU countries purchased 350 000 tonnes of sunflower (181 000 tonnes in 2015-2016) and outside the EU 200 000 tonnes (54 000).

Sunflower seeds export from France will remain unchanged at 275 000 tonnes.
