Wheat sowing in Brazil is ahead of schedule

Wheat sowing in the Brazilian state of Parana (the biggest wheat producer) goes off faster than usual

As of May 9th, 2017 40% of the planned areas are sown, which is by 11% more than the previous year.

Growth of crops corresponds to the sowing rate, according to Deral.

The wheat sowing in Brazil takes place between April and June, and the harvest in the period October - November.
