Wheat and rapeseed export from Bulgaria increases in the current season, while that of barley decreases.

In July 2016 - February 2017 wheat export from sea ports, river and land transport reached 3.757 mln. tonnes (+ 34.7% compared to the previous season), rapeseed 489,700 tonnes (-81.1%), barley 275,000 tonnes (-32.8%).

On May 17th, 2017 the government of China auctioned 3.56 mln. tonnes of corn, 2013 crop, given 4 mln. tonnes offered, at average price of 204.47 USD/mt.

As of May 1st, 2017 grain stocks in Russian agricultural organizations amounted to 11.7 mln. tonnes, which is 30.8% more than May 1st, 2016. A month earlier the rise was 20.9%. Wheat stocks are by 38% higher, and that of corn by 41.7%. Pace of grain export from Russia is not enough to reduce the stocks. In April the export reaches 3.1 mln. tonnes, up by 3.5% compared to April 2016.

Weekly export sales (5 - 11 May) of US wheat of 2016 crop were 247,600 tonnes, which is 40% more than the average for the last 4 weeks. Sales of the new crop are 393,100 tonnes. Since the beginning of the season, 28.2 mln. tonnes of wheat have been exported from the US, by 37% more than the previous season, given 39% a week earlier.

Turkey has bought 180,000 tonnes of corn most likely from Russia for May - June shipment at price of 194.5 USD/mt, C&F.
