As of May 15th, 2017 corn sowing is completed on 99% of the planned areas given 93% a week earlier and 88% a year earlier. In good and excellent condition are 86% of the corn crops, which is above the figures of the previous year.
The condition of the winter wheat crops has improved for the last week due to rainfalls.
As of May 15th, 2017 67% of the hard wheat crops (64% and 79%) are in good and excellent condition,, spring barley 77% (78% and 93%), winter wheat 75% (76% and 85%) . Condition of the winter barley remains stable.
