On May 23rd, 2017, Jordan cancelled an auction for the purchase of 100 000 tonnes of hard milling wheat of optional origin, for October - November shipment. New auction was announced.

Turkey imposed new restrictions on imports of Russian wheat and Russian sunflower oil - import quotas.

In the coming months, Egypt does not plan a large purchase of wheat from the United States.

Japan is looking to buy 117,800 tonnes of wheat from the United States and Australia.

The South Korean FLC bought 63,000 tonnes of corn at auction with a limited number of sellers. The transaction price is 190.3 USD/ mt, C&F. Most likely, the supply will be from the Black Sea region during the period September 10th -30th.

During the period January - April 2017, 3.1 million tonnes of unrefined sunflower oil were produced in Ukraine, up by 31% compared to the previous year. In April, 455,000 tonnes of oil were produced, by 12% less than the previous month and by 18% more than in April 2016.
