The EU lowers its forecast for grain crops yield
MARS lowered its forecast for most of the grain crops in the EU - 28 for the current year due to unsuitable meteorological conditions.

The average grain crops yield is 5.37 tonnes / ha, given an average of 5.3 tonnes for the past five years, wheat yield will be 5.66 tonnes / ha (5.6), soft wheat 5.91 tonnes / ha (5.84), hard wheat 3.34 tonnes / ha (3.32), barley 4.76 tonnes / ha (4.83), corn 7.12 tonnes / ha, (6.88), rapeseed 3.17 tonnes / ha (3.25), sunflower 2.14 tonnes / hectare (1.94).
