Spain decreases the grain import by 35%
For the period January - March 2017г. 2.78 mln. tonnes of grain have been imported to Spain, by 35% less compared to the previous year, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture.

Corn import reached 1.383 million tonnes (2.217 million tonnes in January-March 2016), wheat import - 1,207 million tonnes (1,686), barley import - 86,000 tonnes (267,100 tonnes).

As in the previous year, the first place on deliveries is held by Ukraine - 1.326 million tonnes of grain (1.618), incl. corn 884 600 tonnes (1-237 million tonnes), France 650 300 tonnes (952 600), Russia 31 100 tonnes (60 500).
