Argentina will harvest a record high wheat crop.

In 2017 – 2018, starting from December, wheat crop in Argentina will amount to ca. 20 mln. tonnes, a new record, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture.

In the current season the country harvested a record wheat crop of 18.4 million tonnes.

Crop growth is due to increased amount of investments and the use of modern technology by farmers.

The wheat sowing in the country takes place between May and July and the harvest in October - December.
