Hungary increases the sunflower oil export by 14%
For the period September 2016 - March 2017 337 000 tonnes of sunflower oil have been exported from Hungary by 14.2% more compared to same period of the last year - – 295 000 tonnes.

In 2015 - 2016. 447 000 tonnes of sunflower oil were exported from Hungary. In the current season, the sunflower yield in the country reaches 1,874 million tonnes given 1,586 million tonnes a year earlier. The main buyers of sunflower oil during the period were the Netherlands, Germany, Italy and the Czech Republic.

Between September and March, sunflower export from Hungary decreased to 172,000 tonnes from 275,000 tonnes a year earlier. Throughout 2016 – 2017 the export reaches 382,000 tonnes.
