GASC purchased 120,000 tonnes of Russian and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat
On May 31st, 2017 the Egyptian state-owned company GASC purchased 180,000 tonnes of Russian and Romanian wheat for shipment July 1st - 10th

120,000 tonnes of Russian and 60,000 tonnes of Romanian wheat were purchased as follows:

- 60,000 tonnes of ADM Romanian wheat at price of 201.56 USD/mt, C&F (191.46 USD /mt FOB + freight 10.10 USD/mt).

- 120,000 tonnes of Midgulf Russian wheat at price of 203.14 USD/mt, C&F (192.24 USD/mt FOB + freight 10.90 USD / mt).

Five of the cheapest FOB offers were Romanian and Russian.

Compared to the previous auction, the Black Sea wheat became cheaper by 5.5 USD/mt.
