Soybeans are losing its attractiveness to Argentine farmers

According to preliminary forecast of Oil World, soybean yield in Argentina in 2017 – 2018 will reach 56 mln. tonnes, despite the crop's loss on farmers' interest

Areas under soybean cultivation in Argentina in the new season will drop to 19 million hectares, which will be the minimum level for the past six years. Wheat and corn are now more profitable for farmers.

In the new season, the average soybean yield in Argentina will be 3.09 t / ha, which is the lowest forecast among analysts.
