Argentina decreases grain export by 17%
During the period January - April 2017 11.6 mln tonnes of grain were exported from Argentina - by 17% less than the same period of last year according toSenasa.

 

Export of corn dropped to 3.5 million tonnes (-56%). The main buyers were Algeria 923 000 tonnes, Vietnam 685 500 tonnes, Malaysia 413 800 tonnes and Brazil 296 400 tonnes.

Wheat export will go up to 6.5 million tonnes (+ 44%), and the major buyers are Brazil - 1.658 million tonnes, Algeria 850,800 tonnes, Vietnam 625,300 tonnes, Bangladesh 502,700 tonnes, Thailand 406,200 tonnes, Kenya 349 600 tons and Chile 332,000 tons.

Export of barley rose to 1.364 million tonnes (+ 31%), incl. for Saudi Arabia 584 400 tonnes and Brazil 389 700 tonnes.
