Ukraine increases corn export by 1/3
In May 2.66 million tonnes of corn were exported from Ukraine, which is by 36.15% more than the previous month, according to the country's Ministry of Agriculture.

From the beginning of the season, 11.86 million tonnes of corn have been exported, worth 1.85 billion USD.

The largest buyers of Ukrainian corn were Egypt - 2.14 million tonnes, the Netherlands - 1.48 million tonnes and Spain - 1.34 million tonnes.

According to ProAgro, in 2016 - 2017, corn yield in Ukraine reaches 28 million tonnes, which is by 20% more than in 2015-2016. During the season, corn export will grow by 12% to 18.7 million tonnes.

During the season the average yield of corn increases by 0.5 mt/ha to 4.61 mt/ha
