Forecast for wheat crop in Australia got raised

Analysts of Abares raised their forecast for the wheat crop in Australia in 2017 – 2018 up to 24.19 million tonnes, which is by +1% more than the previous forecast.

The correction is due to favorable rainfalls in the eastern parts of the country.

Wheat crop in Western Australia in the new season will reach 8.5 million tonnes, which is 15% more than the previous and is above the average for the past five years.
