The major buyers were South Korea, Lebanon and Iran.
In April, South Korea ranked 18th among buyers of corn from Russia with a total share of 0.2%, and in May this share rose to 26.4%. Lebanon's share was 15% and Iran’s - 13%.
In May, Russian corn was shipped to 21 countries and in April to 22 countries.
In May 2017, US wheat export reached 1.9 million tonnes, down by 4% from April, but 38.6% more than in May 2016.
Leader among buyers is Egypt with a share of 38.6%, followed by Tanzania - 7%, Yemen - 6.9%. Russian wheat was shipped to 38 countries during the month.
