The French Ministry of Agriculture made its first forecast for soft wheat, barley and rapeseed yields
The French Ministry of Agriculture anticipates soft wheat crop in the new season to reach 36.2 million tonnes at average yield of 7.04 mt/ha and areas under cultivation in amount of 5.147 million hectares.

In 2016 crop amounted to 27.87 million tonnes.

Production of barley will be 12.2 million tonnes (10.31), including winter barley 9.7 million tonnes and spring barley 2.5 million tonnes.

Rapeseed crop will be 4.7 million tonnes at an average yield of 3.2 mt / ha.
