Contracts for the purchase of 25 palm oil containers have been concluded as well for shipment in the last quarter of 2017. Demand for palm oil increases as the price difference increases between it and soybean oil. Large consumers start replenishing palm oil stocks. Over the past two weeks, the price of palm oil on the Kuala Lumpur commodity market has declined under the influence of rising production, and soybean oil has stabilized due to the declining production prospects considering the worsening natural conditions in the United States.
