According to data of Brazilian brokers, the price of corn in different regions of the state of Mato Grosso has fallen to a record low of 52.88 USD / mt.  Appreciation of the Brazilian currency held back the sales of corn, new cro and hence demand for export. Reduced trade of corn is also seen in the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Parana. The forecast for corn crop in Parana is lowered from 13.8 million tonnes to 13.7 million tonnes.

Market operators expect activation of Argentine export after last week's peso rate strengthened to 17.8 ARS / 1 USD. Now Argentina's stocks of soybeans amount to 30 million tonnes and of corn to 20 million tonnes. Last week, farmers sold about 1 million tonnes of soybeans.

Nowadays, durum wheat crops in Canada are in the worst condition for the past 13 years. As of July 24, 2017 only 21% of them in the Saskatchewan province are in good and excellent condition and 30% in bad and very bad condition. Only a week ago in good and excellent condition were 43% of the crops.
